This site carries the Sanitas name because it is about Sanitas products, and it is run by a registered Sanitas agent — not by Sanitas. This page sets out the regulated identity behind it, what we do and do not do, and how the pages here are written.
An agent, not the insurer.
Sanitas, S.A. de Seguros is the insurer. It underwrites the policies, sets the premiums, makes the acceptance decisions and issues the documents. This website is not owned or operated by Sanitas.

An exclusive agent works for one insurer. That is a disclosure, not a boast: it tells you the shape of the advice you will get here. We can go through the two Sanitas Visado products in detail because they are the products we are appointed for. We are not in a position to survey the wider market for you, and we do not pretend to.
Registration is a matter of public record rather than something we ask you to take on trust. The register of insurance intermediaries is maintained by the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones, and the number above is what identifies this agency in it. One insurer. Two products. One visa.
This is a deliberately narrow site. It covers health insurance for Spain’s Non-Lucrative Visa, through two Sanitas products — Residents Visado and Residents Platinum Visado — and it tries to cover that ground properly rather than covering everything shallowly.
What we do
We explain what the policy conditions say, work out which product an applicant is eligible for on their intended start date, prepare a personalised quote, and handle the application and the paperwork that comes out of it. If you want to talk to a person before any of that, you can.
What we do not do
We do not give immigration or legal advice. Nothing here is advice about your visa application, your eligibility to live in Spain, or your tax position.
We do not set or interpret consular requirements. Those are set by the Spanish authorities and applied by the consulate handling your application. Its current checklist is the only reliable source for what it wants, and it is the document you should work from.
We do not make the acceptance decision. Sanitas does that, on its own underwriting. We can tell you what the conditions say; we cannot tell you what the outcome of an individual application will be.
We do not comment on other insurers. We have no evidence about their products and we are not going to invent a comparison.
Why there are no prices on this site.
Premiums on these products depend on factors the conditions themselves set out — age, the product, the number of people insured, the start date and the geographical zone among them. A single figure on a web page would be a figure for somebody else, and out-of-date price tables are one of the most reliably misleading things in this market.
So we quote individually rather than publishing a number we would have to qualify away. The cost page sets out what actually drives the figure, and the quote is personalised and free.
